Welcome to Hair by Kathy! I created this space to allow me to do what I feel most passionate about – help women get the hair of their dreams – while also having the time to take care of my little boy.

I’ve always loved working with hair. I have over 12 years of salon experience and professional training, including experience with Redken, Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble and more. I went into hairdressing as soon as I finished high school and then moved to Santa Monica to attend a comprehensive cutting course with Vidal Sassoon. I also took annual Redken education and attended local Bumble and Bumble training, both of which are world-renowned for the level of education they provide to hair stylists.

When I had my son, I had to take some time off but soon enough, I realized I missed working with hair so I came up with Hair By Kathy. I place special emphasis on the detail-oriented and personalized approach, and I pride myself on delivering high-end salon-quality service at a competitive price.

I love staying in the loop so I’m currently attending online education to remain inspired and hone my skills even further. In November 2018 i attended Hair painting education with dawn Bradley. looking forward to what i can learn in 2019
